    1 cup of butter
    3/4 cup powdered sugar
    1 tsp vanilla

    2 and 1/4 cup flour
    3/4 cup pecan, finely chopped
    1/4 tsp salt


Helps to have a second person around for the "first" rolling in powedered sugar to make sure it is down quickly while the cookies are warm, to create a nice glaze. It can be done by one person-just need to move quickly!b


Preheat oven to 400*

Mix until dough sticks together. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheets. Stay in about that size, so may place close together. Cook for 10-12 minutes.

Remove from oven, while warm roll in powdered sugar to create a "glaze". Allow to cool. Reroll in powdered sugar for final coating. Makes about 55 cookies.
