Ingredients

    1 15 oz kidney beans can (drained)
    3 tablespoons oil
    ˝ medium onion (sliced)
    1 Roma tomato (chopped)
    ˝ teaspoon salt
    ˝ teaspoon red chili powder
    ˝ teaspoon coriander powder
    1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder
    ˝ teaspoon ginger garlic paste

Tips

If tomatoes don't get tender & oil starts separating then add 1/3 cup water while cooking them.


Directions

Heat oil & fry onions till they turn golden brown. Then add tomato, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Mix well, cover & cook on medium low heat for 20 minutes or till the tomatoes get tender & oil separates.

Now add kidney beans, mix well, cover & cook on medium low heat for another 30 minutes or till the kidney beans get cooked and oil separates.

Serve warm with roti/chapati/naan.
