Ingredients

    1tbsp olive oil
    750g diced lamb fillet
    1 onion, sliced
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2.5cm root ginger, chopped
    2 tbsp plain flour
    1 pint lamb stock
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    2 lge pinches saffron
    75g dried figs, diced
    40g roast flaked almonds

Directions

Preheat slow cooked
Fry off the lamb in a frying pan to brown - transfer to slow cooker
Add onion and fry for 5 mins, stir in garlic & ginger, mix in flour. Stir in the stock. Add the spices, figs & S&P and bring to boil.
Spoon into slow cooker, cover and cook for 8 - 10 hours
Stir in almonds
