    EVOO to brown meat
    2# ground venison
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 large yellow onion, chopped
    1 TBS Red Pepper Flakes
    1 TBS Garlic Powder
    1/3 cup Chili Powder
    1 28 oz can Dei Fratelli Italian Tomato Sauce
    2-15 oz cans Dei Fratelli petite diced tomatoes
    16 oz can beef broth
    1/2 cup Tequilia, gold
    1/2 cup orange juice
    2 or three cans any kidney beans, I use lowfat


Can omit tequila & OJ, but that does change the flavor significantly.


Brown meat, add veggies. Cook until veggies soft. Add spices & cook for couple minutes more. Transfer to slow cooker and add all other ingredients. Cook on low for at least 4 hours.
