    .5 c. Old-fashioned oats
    .35 c. Sunny Boy cereal
    10 g. Jay Robb Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
    .25 t. cinnamon
    1.5 c. soy milk
    .5 c. chopped apple
    .125 c. craisins
    1 t. maple syrup


These are the times and powers for my microwave, but yours may differ. Using these times, powers and the suggested bowl size, the porridge does not boil over.


Mix grains, whey powder and cinnamon together in a 20-oz. or larger microwavable bowl. Add craisins and stir. Add .5 c. milk and stir. Add .5 c. milk and stir again. Add chopped apple and stir. Cook in microwave for 3 min. on high. Stir. Cook for another 2 min. on 20% power. Stir. Cook an additional 2 min. on 20% power and stir. Add remaining .5 c. milk and maple syrup. Serves one.
