Introduction

Tastes just like fresh restaurant salsa! Tastes just like fresh restaurant salsa!
Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    4 roma tomoatoes
    1 14 oz can Hunts Diced Fire Roasted tomatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 jalapeno (*seeded for mild salsa)
    1/2 c. fresh cilantro
    6 cloves garlic
    2 limes juiced (2 Tbsp)
    4 tps sugar
    2 Tbsp white vinegar
    2 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp. salt

    *When seeding jalapeno wear gloves to protect your hands from seeds and oil. Contact with skin will burn.



Tips

I place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and pulse to desired consistancy.


Directions

You may want to broil the onion, jalapeno, and garlic for a less potent salsa. If you do, place close to broiler and roast until edges turn golden brown. Keep your eye on these so they don't burn. Chop all ingredients and mix.

Serving Size: makes 36 - 2 Tbsp servings
