    16 Ozs Ground Turkey Sausage
    10 Ozs Dried Lentils
    32 Ozs Stewed Toamtoes, no salt added (2 - 16 oz cans)
    46 Ozs. Low Sodium Tomato Juice (1 large can)
    1 1/2 cups carrots, chopped
    1 cup Green Pepper, chopped (1 whole pepper)
    1/2 C Celery, Chopped
    1/4 C Onion, chopped fine
    2 Cloves Garlic, minced
    1 whole Bay Leaf
    1/2 Tsp Thyme
    1/2 Tsp Marjoram
    !/4 Tsp Sage
    1 Pinch Salt, or to taste
    6 Ozs. Low Fat Cheddar Cheese, shredded


Chop veggies and brown sausage the night before, then in the morning before work toss ingredients together in the crockpot. dinner is ready to eat when you get home from work!


Brown turkey sausage in a pan (add extra spices if using plain ground turkey).

In a crockpot, combine all ingredients except the cheese. Cover and cook until carrots and lentils are tender. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
