Ingredients

    1 egg, beaten
    1 lb 93% lean ground beef
    0.25 lb ground turkey (or 1.5 lb ground beef)
    0.25 lb Sweet Italian sausage (nutrition based on 1 link New York Style, reduced fat)
    ¼ c onion, finely chopped (1/2 medium onion) (1 Tablespoon dried minced onion works very well)
    2 gloves garlic, pressed or minced
    60g (almost ¼ c) ketchup (a few teaspoons of bar-b-q sauce is good too, but all BBQ sauce is too much for me)
    15g (1 tablespoon) Worcestershire sauce
    160 g (3/4 c) milk
    60g (3/4 c) 1-minute “quick cook” oatmeal
    1 teaspoon dried ground sage (this can be left out if you’re putting BBQ sauce in with the ketchup)
    1teaspoon salt
    ¼ teaspoon pepper

Tips

Using a broiler pan or pan specifically for meatloaf allows fat to drip out


Directions

Heat oven to 350F
Mix all thoroughly (I use my hands)
Cook in loaf pan or broiler pan 1 hour


Serving Size: 12 slices, 1-3 slices per serving
