Number of Servings: 4


    3 Cups Raw chopped Broccoli, in 1 inch bite size pieces
    3 Cloves Raw Garlic, Minced
    1/2 Tablespoon Virgin Olive Oil
    1-1/2 Cups Vegetable Broth
    2 Ounces
    Grated Parmesan Cheese
    1/8 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper - or to taste
    12 Ounces of Whole Wheat Pasta - shapes or spagetti


Boil Water on a Large Pot for the Pasta. When boiling add pasta, stir, and reduce heat to med-high - set tier for 12 minutes or according to directions.

Heat a cast iron skillet on med-high, or non stick pan on medium, add olive oil, and add the garlic, stir for 1 minute. Add the broccoli, stir to coat. Add the vegetable broth.

Cook broccoli about 5 minutes or until tender with fork.

Drain the pasta in a colander. Transfer the pan of broccoli and sauce to the used pasta pot. Add the pasta and stir until mixed well. Serve, and top with grated parmesan cheese and ground pepper to taste.

Serving Size: Makes 4 Servings (3 oz pasta with vegetables)
