Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 lbs of ground sausage, sage or hot
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    2 cans cream of chicken soup (10.75oz)
    1 can chicken broth (14oz)
    2 cups prepared rice
    2 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
    1 Tbsp White Pepper
    Salt & Pepper

Tips

Use sage or hot sausage for more flavor.


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Lightly grease a 9x3 baking dish
3. Prepare rice as directed on package.
4. In large skillet, combine sausage, celery, and onions. Cook over med-high heat until sausage is browned and crumbled. Drain well.
5. Combine rice and sausage mixture.
6. In large skillet, over high heat, saute mushrooms and garlic.
7. Stir in soup, broth, mushrooms, and sausage mixture. Spoon into prepared baking dish.
8. Cover and bake about 45 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 10 1-cup servings
