Number of Servings: 8


    1 cup Cornmeal
    1 cup Flour
    1 tsp Salt
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    2 tsp Sugar (or Splenda)
    1 Egg
    Milk(enough to give a pancake batter consistancy)


Oil must be HOT before pouring batter into skillet or it will stick something AWFUL...


Pre-heat oven to 400* and heat a iron skillet with a SMALL amount of canola oil in the bottom of it... Combine all ingredients and pour into the iron skillet... Bake for 30 minuets or until the bread is golden brown and a butter knife inserted comes out clean...
