Carmelized in a pan and roasted in the oven. Carmelized in a pan and roasted in the oven.

    2 large carrots
    2 large white potatoes
    1 large turnip
    10 pearl onions (or 1.5 large white onions)
    1 Tbsp dill weed
    1 Tbsp kosher salt
    1/2 Tsp black pepper
    1/2 Tsp garlic powder


Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Cut the vegetables in medium size cube. Toss with vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, dill weed, and garlic powder in a large bowl.

Heat oven-proof pan over high heat. Once hot, add contents on bowl. Toss frequently until vegetables are mostly carmelized.

Once carmelized, place pan in oven. Cook until vegetables are al-dente.

Makes 4 servings.
