    4.5 cups rolled oats
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp vanilla
    2/3 cup butter blend
    1/2 cup honey
    1/3 packed brown sugar
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 cup chocolate chips


if you try and cut before they are completely cooled they will fall apart and you will have granola. I cut when cooled and then put in the refrigerator to keep them from falling apart.


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 9x13 pan with parchment paper. Mix together butter and brown sugar until creamy, add honey and vanilla. In separate bowl mix flour and baking soda. Add gradually to wet mixture. Add by hand the oats, nuts and chips. Press into pan and bake 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and then cut into squares.

Serving Size: makes 28 bars 1.5" x 3"
