24 small vegetable dumplings -- I used Wei-Chuan Pre-Steamed Vegetable Dumplings that I found at my local Asian grocery store. These dumplings have about 30 calories a piece.

4 cups low sodium vegetable broth

1 cup chopped green onions/scallions, or just get 5 or so green onions and chop them up and use all of it

    1-2 tsp ground ginger

In a large pot, heat water to a boil. Add your dumplings, boil for 2-3 minutes.

In a separate pot, heat the vegetable broth to a boil. Add the dumplings (not the water), green onions/scallions, and ginger.

Put into 4 bowls, 6 dumplings each along with an equal amount of soup. Enjoy!

This is not a recipe at all. This is basically just saying "buy this pre-made, pre-packaged thing" and "buy this other pre-made, pre-packaged thing" and put them together. The effortless chopping of green onions and ginger do not constitute cooking. - 1/25/11
