Easy cornbread with skim milk. Easy cornbread with skim milk.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 tbsp butter

    3/4 cup corn meal
    1/4 cup white flour
    3/4 tsp baking powder
    3/4 tsp salt
    2 tsp sugar

    3/4 cup skim milk
    1/2 egg

Directions

Melt butter in 8 inch round bakepan on stovetop - low heat. Meanwhile, mix together dry ingredients. Add milk and egg, stir until combined. Pour into melted butter. Bake for 25 minutes or so, until pulling away from edges.

Serving Size: Makes 8 slices
