    1 1/2 lb Ground Turkey
    1 cup chopped green bell peppers
    1 cup chopped onions
    2 cloves garlic
    1 Tbsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp oregano
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1/2 cup 2% grated cheddar cheese

    4 tbsp butter
    1/4 cup water
    1/4 cup heavy cream
    pinch of garlic powder
    pinch of salt
    1/2 cup 2% grated cheddar cheese


brown turkey with onion, peppers and garlic. Drain and add the tomato sauce of spices. simmer. put in a small casserole dish and put 1/2 cup cheese over this. prepare Carbquick following the cheddar biscuit recipe. Spread the dough over the meat and cook for 15 mins in oven on 350.

  • Um...what's Carbquick? There's no nutrition value for it in the recipe, so I'm unclear if that was left off of the nutritional count or if the ingredients under the word Carbquick should be prepared as you would biscuits. Please let me know as the recipe sounds interesting. - 3/9/14
