Introduction
These muffins are also called "60 day muffins" because the batter can be mixed up and stored in the refrigerator for quite some time. Just take out enough to make the number of muffins you need at any one time. I usually make half a recipe, however. Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
2 c. All Bran
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. + 3T shortening
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
4 c. Bran Buds
6 c. flour
5 t. soda
2 t. salt
Directions
Pour boiling water over All Bran and cool.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add all other ingredients and mix well.
Store in refrigerator.
Bake 400 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
