    1-1/4 lb Italian turkey sausage, cut into 1/4" slices
    1 med red bell pepper, sliced
    1 med green bell pepper, sliced
    1 med yellow bell pepper, sliced
    1 med onion, sliced
    1 cup chicken broth
    4 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
    1/2 tsp oregano


Low-Carb: server with spinach salad
Regular: add steamed red skinned potatoes
Gluten Free: make sure broth is gluten free


Take a large skillet with tight fitting lid; spray skillet with cooking spray

Add sausage and cook over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes, or until no longer pink

Add bell peppers, onion, garlic, broth, red pepper flakes, and oregano; saute for 5 minutes, or until liquid evaporates

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes

Serving Size: makes 5 servings
