Number of Servings: 6


    1 cup rice (white or brown)
    2 cups chicken or beef stock
    1 package of Sazon (any flavor works)
    1 cup black beans, rinsed
    Cilantro (to taste)


Put rice, stock, and Sazon into a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stir, then cover. Turn down the heat to med-low and cook to package directions. (Mine goes about 20 minutes to perfect rice.)

When liquid is almost gone, add black beans and cilantro to the rice. Stir. Let the rice finish cooking and fluff with a fork.
