1 cup double strength green tea, chilled. I like jasmine flavored green tea, but it is a bit perfumey!
    1 cup blackberries, frozen
    1/2 cup frozen blueberries
    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
    sweetener to taste
    .5 tsp xanthan gum

If using blackberries, you will need to strain them to remove the seeds. Here is how:
Thaw blackberries by leaving them out for 30 minutes. Blend on high in your blender, and then pour the puree into a wire mesh strainer over a bowl. Use the back of a spoon to push through the liquids without the seeds. You can re-freeze the results.

To make smoothie: blend all ingredients except frozen blueberries, ice, and sweetener. Once they are mixed, add the blueberries and ice and sweetener to taste. Blend well. Makes 2 big smoothies if you use a lot of ice like I do (I use 10-15 cubes)
