    18 oz beef cubed
    4 cups chicken stock
    1 can diced tomato
    1 can tomato paste
    1 can mushroom
    2 cups cubed and peeled butternut squash
    sauteed celery and onion
    3 - 4 oz sherry


place all ingredients in slow cooker on high then brown meat in skillet with herbs of choice place in slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours or on low overnite
