    2- 15 oz cans black beans (with juice)
    1- 7 oz can chopped green chiles
    1 red bell pepper, chopped
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1/2 large onion
    1/4 cup Jalapeno peppers with some juice from the jar
    1 cup salsa
    2 Tbsp minced garlic
    2 Tbsp dried cilantro
    2 Tbsp cumin
    1 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 tsp chili powder
    garlic powder and onion powder to taste
    6 cups cooked brown rice


Start your brown rice first, I like to use vegetable broth instead of plain water.
Then chop all of your vegetables and saute with all of the spices and peppers. When the vegies are cooked, add the two cans of black beans with the juice and the salsa, mix well, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Taste and add more spices if desired.

Mix with the cooked rice, and serve!
