Introduction

This recipe is simple, chewy, warm and toasty and crunchy, plus it's highly customizable, and SUPER filling! This recipe is simple, chewy, warm and toasty and crunchy, plus it's highly customizable, and SUPER filling!

Ingredients

    1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
    1/4 cup water
    1/4 cup (1 serving) liquid egg whites
    heaping 1/8th tsp baking soda
    2 packets stevia
    a little less than 1/4 tsp almond extract
    3 drops vanilla stevia (optional, but yummy if you have it!)
    dash of cinnamon
    1/2 tbsp sliced almonds

Tips

This doesn't just have to be breakfast! It also makes a great warming lunch or filling snack :)


Directions

Preheat toaster oven to 375 degrees.
Mix oats, water, egg whites, baking soda, stevia and extracts of choice in a nonstick-sprayed oven-safe ramekin (or mini loaf pan).
Bake for 20 minutes, and then set to broil for an additional 3. (this comes out best on the top shelf of your toaster oven)
When done, sprinkle with cinnamon and sliced almonds! YUM!!!
