Introduction
This is my first recipe I am entering, so forgive the lack of detail. I love Shepards pie and this is my favorite recipe I think I have ever had so far.I browsed other recipes and customized this for myself. Rachel Ray had the best explained recipe I could find here:

I used beef, not turkey and I had no bananas or hot sauce so I used Red Cayanne Pepper sparingly in the Sweet Potatoes. I always season to taste, today I used Salt and Pepper. -
2 lbs Ground Beef
Entire bag of Frozen Organic Peas and Carrots (or fresh)

1/2 cup Organic Chopped Onion
3-4 stalks of celery Chopped
4 large Organic Sweet Potatoes (peeled and chopped)

2 tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
Hot Sauce or Cayanne Pepper Seasoning to taste

Other Seasonings to taste
Directions
This is how I did it, I'm sure everyone has their own way in the kitchen however:
1.Prep all the vegetables (clean, chop, etc)
2.Heat Olive oil in large deep pan
3.Place Sweet Potatoes in large pot with water and start to boil (10-15 mins)
4.Put meat in pan and break up while it browns, season to taste and add some Worcestershire Sauce
5. To beef: add onions, celery, peppers, peas and carrots let simmer and occasionally stir so veggies can soften a bit
6.In seperate small pot melt 2 tbs butter - wisk in Shepards Pie Seasoning Mix - season to taste and add some Worcestershire Sauce, salt and pepper - Pour in Beef Broth and Wisk until smooth.
7.Add gravy to beef mixture and stir. Let simmer while you prep sweet potatoes.
After Potatoes are done and tender, remove from pot and drain water
8.Put pot back on heat and melt 2 tbs butter in the pot
9. Add drained Sweet Potatoes, seasoning and hot sauce or cayanne to taste - MASH
10. Finally Add beef mixture to your pan and put sweet potatoes on top.
