    4 lbs cubed butternut squash
    2 tbs butter
    1 onion chopped
    3 green apples
    4 cups chicken stock
    2 cups water
    2 cups milk


may add nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste


melt butter in soup pot sautee onion till soft add squash, stock, water
bring to boil till squash is soft add peeled cored apples cook till soft.
Puree in blender return to pot stir in milk and serve
