Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Top round roast - about 5 lbs
    soy sauce - 1/4 cup
    sherry - 1/4 cup
    ginger - 1/4 cup chopped
    sweet onion - 1 medium
    mushroom broth (made from soaking dried porcini) - 2 cups
    garlic - 10 cloves
    olive oil - 2 tbsp
    salt and pepper

Tips

Strain the juices to remove chunks of garlic etc, and use with the slices when serving. Also good for freezing slices so they heat up nicely without drying out.


Directions

Put all ingredients in crockpot, let sit overnight in fridge, cook on low for 10 hours

Serving Size:  12, 5-6 oz slices or 24 thin slices
