    4 cups Whole Wheat Flour
    5 tsp. Baking Powder
    1 tsp. Salt
    10 Tbsp. Shortening
    1 3/4 cup Skim Milk


Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture has the consistency of coarse meal. Pour in all of milk and stir until it thickens to the point that it follows the spoon around the bowl (30 strokes). Knead on lightly floured board for 20 seconds. Roll dough until 1/4 inch thick, cut out biscuits. Cook at 425 for 10-12 minutes.
