Ingredients:
:::Main part:::
Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey, 20 oz
Stewed Tomatoes, 1 cup
Heinz Organic Ketchup, 3 tbsp
Trader Joe's Organic Greek Style Nonfat Yogurt, Plain, 0% milkfat, 1 serving
brown rice (1 cup cooked), 1 serving
Egg, fresh, 1 jumbo
Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 3 tsp
Kosher Salt, 1 tsp
Pepper, black, 1.25 tsp
:::Topping:::
Heinz Organic Ketchup, 1 tbsp
Cider Vinegar, 1 tbsp
Brown Sugar, 6 tsp packed
Tips
~ Depending on taste, use 1.25 tsp - 1 tbsp of fresh ground pepper.
~ I use organic chicken stock to cook the brown rice and usually cook it the day before so it is a little more firm.
~ If you accidentally use the entire can of stewed tomato as I have, just bake for an extra 30-60 minutes.
Directions
Preheat at 350 degrees.
1. In a small bowl, combine 1 T of the ketchup, cider vinegar and brown sugar.
2. In a large bowl, combine and mix remaining ingredients.
3. Transfer contents of the large bowl to a baking tin (spraying with Pam is optional). Note: tins have worked better for crispier edges than glass like Pyrex.
4. Cover the top of the 'loaf' with the contents step 1.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-60 minutes. I usually wait until the top and sides are extra brown and crispy. :)
