A dish that never gets old. It's good hot or cold. A dish that never gets old. It's good hot or cold.

    14.4 oz. ground pork
    14.4 oz. ground beef-extra lean
    1 cup bread crumbs, plain
    2TBS onion, diced very fine
    1 TBS shallots
    3 TBS green peppers
    .25 tsp. salt
    .5 tsp. black pepper
    1 egg, large
    .5 cup soy milk


Makes 8 servings

Finely dice the onions, shallots and green peppers. Place in a large bowl.
Put the ground pork and beef right on top of the veggies.
Sprinkle the bread crumbs across the top.
Measure and pour all the spices in the bowl.
Mix up everything together. (I use my hand, It's a lot faster and distributes spices better than a utensil.)
In a separate small bowl, crack the egg, add soy milk and beat well.
Add egg mixture to the meat and mix very well again.
Place the mixture in an oven-safe dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
