    1 block extra firm tofu, cut into pieces
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    2 tbsp sesame oil
    3 cloves garlic
    1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    pinch hot pepper flakes

    4 cups cooked soba noodles
    1 medium cucumber, cut into sticks
    1 bunch green onion, chopped
    1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted

    1 tbsp sesame oil
    1 tbsp soy sauce


Marinate tofu in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, hot pepper and brown sugar for about 30 minutes.

While marinating, cook soba noodles and chop vegetables.

Dump tofu and marinade into hot frying pan and fry until most of liquid is evaporated and sugar is beginning to caramelize. Add sesame seeds.

Add fried tofu to noodles and toss with vegetables and additional 1 tbsp of soy sauce and sesame oil.
