    1 cup dry couscous
    1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable stock)
    2 tsp. margarine (or butter)
    1 cup slivered almods
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley (for garnish)


1. Put margarine in bottom of pan, melt, and add almonds.

2. After almonds are golden brown and toasted, add 1 c. broth and bring to a boil.

3. Shut off heat after broth has boiled and add couscous, allowing to sit for 5 minutes.

4. After allowing to sit for 5 minutes, add parsley and "fluff" with a fork before serving.

Makes 4 1-cup serving
