    8 oz. Chinese wide rice noodles
    3 crowns broccoli, florets only
    1 orange, zested and juiced
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
    2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
    1 lb. beef sirloin strips, cut into 1/2-inch thick, 2-inch long pieces
    8 cloves garlic, chopped, divided
    8 oz. snow peas, rinsed well and trimmed


Can also be made with pork instead of beef.


1. In medium bowl mix orange zest and juice, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, 1/2 of the chopped garlic, and ginger. Add meat and mix to coat. Marinate meat for a couple hours or overnight.

2. Bring a large stock pot of water to boil. Add noodles, reduce heat to medium high and simmer for 5 minutes;stirring occasionally to prevent noodles from sticking. Drain and keep warm.

2. Meanwhile, heat 1 tsp. oil in a large skillet. Add meat and cook, turning occasionally for 2 minutes. Remove from pan and keep warm.

3. In same skillet, heat another tsp. oil in pan. Add remaining 1/2 of the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add broccoli and for 5 minutes. Add snow peas and meat back into skillet. Cook for another 2 minutes. Add to noodles and mix.

Serving Size: Makes 8 2-cup servings
