    Turkey Mole Chili

    1 pound ground turkey, 93% lean
    1 medium-size onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1-8 oz. can tomato sauce, no added salt
    1-14 1/2 oz. can stewed tomatoes
    1-15 oz. can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1Tbsp sweetener
    1/4 tsp liquid hot pepper seasoning
    1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1/2 tsp dry oregano
    1/2 tsp dry basil


In a large, nonstick soup pot brown turkey, onion and garlic. Stir in tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, beans, sweetener, hot pepper seasoning, cocoa, paprika, cumin, oregano, and basil. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer until flavors are well blended (about 30 minutes).
