Whatcha Got? Throw it in the Pot. Easy, yummy, healthy treat. Every week we get our half share of stuff from our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Farm. We don't know in advance what it will be but tonite it will be soup. Whatcha Got? Throw it in the Pot. Easy, yummy, healthy treat. Every week we get our half share of stuff from our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Farm. We don't know in advance what it will be but tonite it will be soup.

Ingredients

    1 bunch Kale, chopped
    1 bunch Chard, chopped
    1 large sweet onion, chopped
    10 small brown mushrooms, quartered
    1 Turnip, peeled and cut in chunks
    1 cup of grape tomatoes
    1 Idaho potato, peeled and chopped
    1 head of broccoli, chopped
    2 quarts Fat Free Chicken or Vegetable broth

Tips

Almost any vegetables will work. Beans or pasta can be added if desired. Parmesan on top adds great flavor. Serve with a loaf of crusty bread.


Directions

Clean each vegetable and chop into manageable pieces. Cover with Broth and simmer for an hour or two.
