Introduction

I make my own kefir with fat free milk and kefir grains. I make my own kefir with fat free milk and kefir grains.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 cup fat free kefir
    1 packet of sugar free drink mix (for water bottles)
    7 ice cubes

Tips

It is a good idea to only fish out about 2 tablespoons of grains and leave the rest to be blended, otherwise your kefir will just get bigger and bigger....great if you want to share, but these kefir are rich in probiotics.

I think the carb count is actually close to around 6 or 7 with live kefir, but I can't find it here. In fact I used buttermilk as my recipe. This is so good!


Directions

In a pint glass jar, pour 1 cup of kefir (fishing out the grains for making more kefir).

Add the packet of drink mix and 6 or 7 ice cubes.

Screw on the blender blade right onto the jar.

Blend for about 10 seconds and stop then blend for another 10 seconds until all the ice is smooth.

Serving Size: Makes a pint glass jar
