Ingredients

    2 Tbsp. butter or margrine
    1 cup chopped celery
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes or garden fresh tomatoes
    3 slices bread, toasted cut in 1/2-inch cubes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. mustard
    Dash of pepper

Directions

Cook celery & onion in butter untill tender. Blend in flour. Break up tomatoes, add to celery mixture. Add half the toast cubes and spices. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt. casserole. top with remaining toast. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
