    1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
    2.5 tablespoons butter
    1/2 a medium sized onion


Put all ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium. Once it simmers, lower heat to keep it at a slow simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once done, salt and pepper to taste and serve with pasta.

Serving Size: Serves 2 as a main, 4 as a side and coats about a half pound of pasta
