    2 c. rolled oats
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. splenda
    1/2 c. wheat bran
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tbsp. unsalted butter
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    4 1/2 tsp. dry active yeast
    approx. 5 c. all purpose flour


in large bowl combine first 7 ingredients.
let cool until warm (approx. 110 degrees C)
dissolve yeast in 1/2. cup warm water, and let activate (approx. 5 min)
stir yeast mixture and 2 cups flour into large bowl with first 7 ingredients
stir in enough flour to form a soft dough (it may take slightly more than 5 cups, but nutritional info is calculated for 5)
knead until smooth and elastic, approx 6 minutes
cover and let rise approx 1 hour until dough doubles in size
punch dough down and divide into 20 equal pieces
roll pieces into smooth balls and place in 9 x 13" pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray
cover and let rise until doubled (approx 45 minutes)
bake in preheated 350 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown
