Introduction

400 year old tradition! Simple and delicious. Not typically "healthy" but small enough to not break your Spark calorie budget. Great to have a single cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a reasonable dessert treat! 400 year old tradition! Simple and delicious. Ingredients

    6 T. shortening
    4 T. brown sugar
    1 c. cake flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 320. In a double boiler, melt shortening, add and dissolve sugar and remove from heat. Stir in flour until dough is thick and fully mixed. Shape into small rectangle shapes or try a cookie press. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 3 dozen small Okinawan cookies just over 30 calories a peice. Enjoy!
