    2 tbsp butter
    2 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
    2 cups milk
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
    8 oz pasta *I used shells*
    4 slices colby-jack cheese
    4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
    paprika (optional)


There's def. plenty of room for healthy improvement but it's so good as is. :)

I plan to make some changes in the future though.


Melt butter in med. saucepan over med. heat.
Stir in flour until smooth; cook 1 min, stirring constantly.
Stir in milk, salt and cayenne pepper.
Heat to a boil; reduce heat.
Simmer 1 min. or until thickened, stirring frequently.
Stir in cooked pasta.

Spoon half of pasta mixture into 8x8-in square pan; top with colby-jack cheese.
Repeat with remaining pasta and cheddar cheese.
Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
Bake in preheated 375degree oven, 25 min or until bubbly.

Serving Size: makes 5 1-cup servings
