Ingredients

    10-12 Cabbage Leaves
    1 cup Cooked White Rice
    1 Egg Beaten
    1/4 Cup Milk
    1/3 Cup Finely Diced Onion
    1 lb. Extra Lean Ground Beef
    1-1/4 t. Salt
    3/4 t. Ground Black Pepper
    3 cups Pasta Sauce
    2 T Brown Sugar
    2 T Lemon Juice
    1 T Worchestershire Sauce

Directions

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and boil cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes. Drain well.
2. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup cooked rice, beaten egg, milk, onion, ground beef, salt and pepper.
3. In a small bowl, mix together pasta sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worchestershire sauce. Pour 3/4 cup into bottom of slow cooker. Set aside remaining sauce.
4. Place small handful of meat mixture (about 1/4-1/3 cup) at base of a cabbage leaf and tighly roll up, tucking in the sides as you do so. Repeat with available cabbage leaves until meat mixture is gone.
5. Place cabbage rolls in slow cooker, seam side down, with additional layers placed croos-wise to lower layer. Pour remaining pasta sause mixture over the cabbage rolls.
6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours.

Serving Size: Makes about 10 Cabbage Rolls
