This homemade recipe is based on ancient dark cocoa recipe, with a modern twist. Most children find it too dark and bitter for their tastes. Ingredients

1 cup non fat milk
2 TBS cocoa powder, unsweetened
1tsp Splenda
1tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
In a small sauce pan, heat milk on LOW.
In a separate bowl, stir the sugar and splenda into the cocoa powder. Add to this cocoa mix, a 1/4 cup of the prewarmed milk, whisking gently until smooth.
Carefully pour and scrape the smooth cocoa mixture back into the milk pan. Add the vanilla and continue whisking until cocoa is completely incorporated into the milk.
Pour into a mug and enjoy immediately.
***note*** DO NOT allow the milk to scorch in the pan or the taste will be ruined.
