Introduction

trying a friends baked granola recipe and swapping out some of the oats for oat groats, and took out most of the honey and used some agave. This is so good in my greek yogurt, and to even just snack on. trying a friends baked granola recipe and swapping out some of the oats for oat groats, and took out most of the honey and used some agave. Ingredients

2 cups Meijer natural quick oats
    1 cup oat groats
    1 cup cashews
    1 cup raw almonds
    1/2 cup craisins
    2 TBS ground flax seed
    1 TBS cinnamon
    1/4 CUP honey
1/2 CUP agave nectar - I used amber

Tips

I have also used 1 cup of buckwheat groats in place of the oat groats and it is also really good.

Directions

chop the nuts and dried fruit, add them to all the other dry ingredients, mix the agave and the honey well and then poor on the dry ingredients. stir well and spread out on an oiled cookie sheet. Cook at 325 for 15 min. Take out and flip and cook an additional 10 min. it will seem soft when you take it out, don't let that make you think you need to cook it more. Then let cool down, then you can put in container and store in fridge.

Serving Size: makes aprox 20 - 1/2 cup servings
