    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup canola oil
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1cup water


Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl. Next combine wet ingredients in a bowl and then mix well with dry ingredients. Pour into prepared muffin pans and bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes.

    These were VERY easy to make. Moist. And they baked up really nice. I was able to get about 9 out of the batch. But - kinda bland! Need sugar! The syrup was probably supposed to be the sweetener, but it didn't do it for me. Will experiment with this base recipe. Added vanilla will try apples. - 3/10/08

    This is absolutely fabulous. My picky grandchildren love them. They have no idea it's actually healthy for them. Will make these again and again. - 3/2/08
