Number of Servings: 6


    2/3 cup fat free half and half
    3 eggs
    1 refrigerated pie crust
    10 oz frozen or 1 1/2 cup fresh asparagus
    4 oz dill-flavored Havaryi cheese, shredded
    1/4 tsp each of salt and pepper


If using frozen crust, let thaw first or increase cook time.


1. Heat oven to 400. In a bowl, mix eggs, half-and-half, and salt/pepper.
2. Cut asparagus into bite size pieces. If using fresh asparagus, partially steam and drain.
3. Brush 1 tbsp egg mixture over crust then add asparagus an cheese. Pour egg mixture into crust.
4. Bake on lower rack at 400 for 30-35 min. Let set for 5 min then slice and serve.
