    1/2 cup cubed cantaloupe
    5 fresh figs, stemmed and quartered
    2 tablespoons chopped red onion
    1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated
    3 slices smoked deli ham, cut into strips
    1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
    3 teaspoons olive oil
    1/8 teaspoon black pepper


For dressing whisk vinegar and olive oil in a small bowl.
Toss field greens, cantaloupe, figs, and red onion in a salad bowl with dressing, then top with ham slices, Parmesan cheese, and fresh ground pepper.
