    Atlantic Salmon (fish), 1 fillet
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Paprika, 1 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    *Onion powder, 1 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tbsp
    *Pepper, white, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
    Thyme, fresh, 1 tsp
    Thyme, fresh, 1 tsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
    Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 1 tsp


Using foozen 6 oz. salmon steaks which are individually vacuum packaged makes it quick. It takes only about 20 minutes to defrost under room temperature water (still in wrap).


Pat salmon dry,
Mix dry spices together in a teacup.
On a 9" dinner plate, pour oil and add a full tablespoon of the spice mixture. Stirr to dissolve the pepper oils.
Dredge salmon fillet in oil on all sides and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Using a Paper towel, pat much of the spice/oil mixture off, not all, leaving an even coating.
Broil 4 minutes on each side. Look for just forming caramelized edges. Do not overdo. Cooking will continue while resting.
Allow to rest 2 minutes covered with a towel ( while you throw together your salad?)
Serve hot, or cool for your salmon salad!
