Introduction

I make my own yogurt for this recipe. I add about a half a teaspoon of probiotics to the starter and milk. I make my own yogurt for this recipe. I add about a half a teaspoon of probiotics to the starter and milk.

Ingredients

    1 liter + 1 cup homemade yogurt (1 cup starter yogurt + 1 liter organic whole milk (add a little probiotic to it as well)

    1 kilo of strawberries - washed and cut into pieces

    1/4 cup of chia seeds.

Tips

Thanks to Cristina Potters (Mexico Cooks!) for the idea. I have modified her recipe by not adding a sugar substitute and by not adding salt.


Directions

* Make your yogurt.
* Wash your berries, remove the tops, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Mush up the berries a little.
* Add your yogurt. Mix.
* Sprinkle the quarter cup of chia on top. Stir well.
Keep in a large covered container in the refrigerator.

Serving Size: makes 5 2-cup servings)
