A cornbread quiche. A cornbread quiche.
Number of Servings: 6


    Boxed Cornbread, prepared and cooked till half baked
    Turkey, Ground turkey, 10 oz
    Broccoli, fresh, 2 cup, chopped or diced
    Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup, shredded
    Milk, 1/2 cup
    3 large eggs

    Turmeric, ground, 1 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    Chili powder, 1 tsp


Remove meat and add more veggies for a lighter dish.


Prepare cornbread as to directions. Bake for 15 minutes at 350.

Fry meat and spices till browned. Drain if needed. Add broccoli during last minutes of cooking to brown a bit.

Whisk egg and milk in bowl till well mixed. Stir into meat mixture, add cheese. Stir till the egg/milk is thoroughly coating all the meat and veggies.

Pour onto cornbread. Cornbread may be disturbed, that is OK, it will get over it. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Turn up oven to 400F to brown top during the last ten minutes.

Remove and allow to stand five minutes before serving.
