    1 cup white flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup soybean oil
    3/4 cup milk


Basic biscuit recipe that can undergo heavy modification to serve as a general purpose bread, crust, or snack.


Mix dry ingredients together. Combine milk and oil first, and then add wet ingredients to flour mixture to make a soft but not sticky dough. May spoon out biscuit dough for drop biscuits, or roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter.

Bake on ungreased cooking sheet at 425 (220 C) for 10-15 minutes.
